United Team uniforms shown below will be used for the 2023-2025 Seasons.
United - Competitive Travel (U9-U18 Teams)
The official JHYS United uniform kit is Puma. Players registered with JHYS competitive teams (United Program) are required to purchase the uniform from our retail partner, Soccer Pro, every two years. Our uniform kit includes two jersey tops, one pair shorts, two pair socks. Annual training shirts are also provided at a designated time of the year. Uniform numbers will be assigned by the club for competitive programs.
After the initial uniform purchase, extra individual uniform pieces may be purchased at any time during the two year cycle to meet the needs of growing athletes, to replace lost or missing kit items and proper upkeep of the uniform kit.
All uniform pieces must be our official Puma brand with the exception of cleats, shin guards, soccer balls and any items purchased from Soccer Pro.
Process – The address associated with the player’s competitive registration will receive an email directly from Soccer Pro Inc inviting them to purchase the required items. The email you receive will bring you to your JHYS team page on Soccer Pro Inc where you will have to filter to the correct team and player. Once you enter into the team store, add all required items to your cart in order to complete the full uniform purchase. Numbers are assigned by the club and will be included in the invite email that comes from Soccer.com.
Recommended (Optional) Items – Click the ‘Recommended’ tab at the top of the page to view optional items such as sackpacks, hoodies, and soccer balls. Add any additional items to your cart and proceed to checkout.
Uniform Care – It's great that you prioritize the care and presentability of team uniforms. Maintaining uniform cleanliness and appearance can contribute to a sense of unity and professionalism among the players. Here are a few suggestions to help ensure that uniforms are well taken care of:
Separate Washing: Advise parents to wash the uniforms separately from other clothing items to prevent color bleeding or potential damage. This is particularly important if the uniforms have contrasting colors or delicate fabric.
Gentle Cycle: Recommend using a gentle cycle or hand-washing option when cleaning the uniforms. This can minimize wear and tear on the fabric and help maintain the uniform's quality over time.
Air Drying: Suggest air drying the uniforms instead of using a clothes dryer. High heat can cause shrinkage or damage to certain fabrics. Hanging the uniforms to dry will also help prevent wrinkles and maintain their shape.
Team Matches Only: Emphasize that the uniforms should be used exclusively for team matches. This helps maintain the uniform's condition and ensures that players have appropriate attire for official events. Encourage players to wear alternate clothing during practice sessions or non-team-related activities.
