Our Mission
The mission of Jackson Hole Youth Soccer is to provide all community youths with an excellent soccer education and the opportunity to play the greatest game in the world: soccer! We believe that soccer teaches life-long skills that can be utilized to take advantage of opportunities in soccer and other personal life pursuits.
Jackson Hole Youth Soccer has a strong set of core values that reinforce everything that the program stands for and aims to achieve. All players, coaches, and family members within the program are instrumental in creating an environment that promotes our core values, those being: Teamwork, Development, Integrity, Commitment, Competitiveness, and of course Fun. All are paramount to success, both on and off the field.
Teamwork - “Together Everyone Achieves More”. Team achieve what individuals cannot.
Development - Provide a pathway open to all soccer players who wish to participate allowing them to reach their full potential providing age and developmentally appropriate programming geared toward long term success and enjoyment over short-term outcome.
Integrity - Know and do what is right even in difficult situations. Instill an atmosphere of “doing the right thing even when nobody is watching” because doing this can teach patience, honesty, responsibility. dependability, accountability, and caring.
Commitment - The willingness of our players, coaches to give time and energy wholeheartedly to practicing and competing. Our commitment drives us to take continual positive actions and overcome obstacles. We decide to do “whatever it takes” ethically and we push ourselves until we “make it happen”.
Competitiveness - Out work your opponent and most importantly, work smart. Do not wait for external inspiration. The people who go far do so because they motivate themselves and give their best regardless of how they feel.
Fun - The game of soccer is meant to be fun and we must realize the more fun the players have the harder they will work to accomplish their goals.
