Our History

Jackson Hole Youth Soccer (JHYS) is a non-profit, 501(c)3, youth soccer organization that operates both recreational and competitive travel programs. Based in the Teton County, Wyoming encompassing the greater Jackson Hole area (Jackson, Wilson, Moran, Alpine, Victor, etc.) the club is home to more than 300 competitive travel players and more than 350 recreational players. We share a legacy of successful player development, stable operations, and a commitment to the community.

The Jackson Hole Youth Soccer program was formed in 1994 by a group of parents and coaches interested in the development of our youth through their participation in recreational and competitive travel soccer. From the start, JHYS realized it takes more than knowledgeable, quality coaches to run a successful soccer club. Every year our wonderful volunteers spend thousands of hours setting up fields, fundraising, marketing, coordinating events, hosting tournaments, etc.

We are a proud, long-standing member of Wyoming Soccer Association and US Youth Soccer Association. We work closely with the Teton County Parks and Recreation Department as well as Teton County School District. JHYS was instrumental in establishing the area’s first turf field complex at the high school utilized by thousands of soccer players every year.
